Reportedly, two Army personnel lost their lives during an encounter between security forces and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district on Wednesday. The fierce gunfight unfolded as two terrorists found themselves trapped at the site.

The encounter broke out in the Bajimaal area of Dharmsal during a cordon-and-search operation jointly conducted by the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police. The clash resulted in the martyrdom of one officer and a soldier, with another member of the security forces sustaining injuries. The injured individual has been promptly shifted to a hospital for medical attention.
